By accessing and using this website you agree to be bound, without limitation or qualification, by these Terms, and any other terms or conditions that might apply. The Company may, at its sole discretion, update or modify these Terms at any time by updating this page. Therefore you (the "User") should review this page every time you access the site, or use our services, either free or paid.
All materials on this website, including text, images, graphics or other are protected by copyright. Links to, and citations from this site are permitted where credit and authorship are clearly displayed.
Usage of this website may require disclosure of personal information. All personal information will be handled according to our privacy policy. The privacy policy page is provided at the foot of this page.
You certify that any materials you supply for proofreading or editing services, whether free or paid, are original, belong to you, are are not held under a third person's copyright, or that you have the right to use such materials. You bear sole responsibility for any copyright violations resulting from your submissions to our website should any dispute arise. You retain all copyrights to any submitted material.
We certify that we will not sell, distribute, or use any material sent for editing except as provided in our agreements and privacy policy. That is: Materials sent for full service (paid) editing will be held confidential, returned to the submitter in edited form and stored for 30 days on our private computer system. Material over 30 days old will be deleted permanently. Free proofreading submissions, grammar questions and questions about essays may be discussed on the website or blog at our discretion. In all cases, the source of the question will be kept confidential. The geographical location of all IPs from which web submissions are made will be recorded. Cookies may be placed on the user's computer for the sole purposes of limiting access to free services based on our policy, or to facilitate the calculation of payments when paid services are ordered.
You agree that you will not submit any materials that could be considered unlawful, defamatory, abusive, harassing, obscene or otherwise offensive in Canada, the United States of America or in the originating jurisdiction. The provision of any editorial services, whether free or paid, is solely at the discretion of The Company. Any lawsuit or legal action arising from publication or distribution of materials which have been edited by HGPublishing.com is solely the responsibility of the User. HGPublishing.com will immediately cease to provide editorial services upon notification of any possible or existing legal action against a User in regards to materials for which we have provided editorial services, unless we specifically indicate to the contrary.
This website may contain typographical inaccuracies, errors or other information that is incorrect. We bear no responsibility for any reliance on our information. This website contains links to third party websites; we make no representations about the content of any linked website, nor bear any responsibility for any event that occurs when you leave our site.
The User accepts the use of this website and our services at his or her own risk. Our liability is solely limited to the refund of any fees paid to us and does not extend to any other loss or damages incurred.

All invoices must be paid before the completed work is returned. Corporate and government clients may supply a purchase order or letter of authorization to contract services with payment on invoice at 30 days net.
Prices are in US Dollars. At this time online payments are restricted to US dollars; however, we can send invoices in Canadian dollars to Canadian clients. Canadian clients may use a link to order through iProof.ca and pay in Canadian dollars; prices at iProof.ca may not be equivalent to those at HGPublishing.com.
Terms and Prices are subject to change without notice. Where any submitted material has excessive grammatical errors to the point that it is difficult to understand what the writer intends, the price on the invoice may be higher than the prices posted on the website. The User always has the option to decline our invoice and thereby cancel any contract of service. Additionally, we may decline a job for any reason, including: difficulty understanding the writing, an overdemand for our services at that moment, or unavailability of the editor. We will notify our clients of declined jobs as soon as possible so you can seek an alternative editor.

After you submit the form you will be taken to a page where you can upload your document.
Upon completion of the upload, you will see a pop-up acknowledgement and be taken to our first step payment page. You will also receive an email acknowledgement.
At the first step payment page, you have the option of paying immediately or waiting for an invoice. Immediate payment is required for essays under 900 words long. A link is provided to a page through which you can make payment. Click on the link to go to a payment page.
For new clients only, we will immediately edit the first 300 words of documents over 900 words. We know you're in a hurry, so we're going to get your sample edit back to you as fast as we can. Our repeat clients already know and trust our service, so they can go ahead and make the payment.
You will receive the document with the edits showing using the "Track Changes" tool in MS Words.
We will send you an invoice for the cost of the whole job.
If the estimate is acceptable to you and you like the work, then pay the invoice and the completed essay will be returned to you within 24 hours (12 hours if you choose rush service.) The invoice will include the cost of the sample edit. If the estimate is not acceptable, then simply ignore the invoice.
Invoices that remain unpaid after 24 hours will be cancelled at no obligation to the client.
For documents under 900 words, users must pay immediately following upload.
If the number of words entered in the order form is not correct, and payment is made at the time of upload, then a refund will be issued for credits over $5.00. Alternatively, an invoice for any shortfall, plus a $5 administration fee will be issued. If the invoice is not paid by the original deadline of the order, the order will be considered cancelled in its entirety, and the original fee will be refunded.
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with our service, we will issue a full refund. We do not guarantee that you will receive any grade or outcome as a result of our editing. We do not guarantee that we will catch 100% of all grammatical errors.
All submissions are treated as the confidential intellectual property of the client. We will never sell, share, or disclose any content supplied for editing services except as required under court orders. All content will be held on our private computer for up to 30 days and deleted afterwards.
Free services are rendered as a courtesy and no guarantee is given as to the accuracy or suitability of the response for your purpose. We reserve the right to limit free services in any way that we deem appropriate, including refusing service to anyone who abuses this service. Free services are limited to one submission in any of our services per 24 hour period.Free service response times may vary; we do not guarantee a response in any case. Questions posed in the Free Grammar Help and Essay Questions sections and Free Proofreading submissions may be discussed on the blog; however, all information regarding the source of the question will be kept confidential.
HGPublishing may receive some benefit from advertisers when users click on a link.

Your Data means data that is capable of being associated with you, whether or not it includes an explicit identifier such as your name or customer number. In particular, it encompasses all data that HyperGraphix is capable of correlating with you, using such means as server-logs and cookie-contents.
Your Data does not refer to data that can no longer be associated with you. This includes aggregated data that does not and cannot identify the individuals whose data are included in the aggregation.
HGPublishing.com may place a cookie on your computer. Cookies are placed by our advertisers and we have no control over these cookies. However, for the purpose of automating future orders, a cookie may be generated with some data for the form. This cookie will expire in 365 days.
